<h3><strong>Nationality</strong></h3>

<p>You must be either:</p>

<ul>
	<li>a citizen of India or</li>
	<li>a subject of Nepal or</li>
	<li>a subject of Bhutan or</li>
	<li>a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, intending to permanently settle in India or</li>
	<li>a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, intending to permanently settle in India.</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Age Limit (As on 01.08.2024)</strong></h3>

<p>You must be between the ages of 20 and 30. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2003 (both dates inclusive). Moreover, there are a few relaxations to the upper age limit for specific categories. They are as follows:</p>

<ul>
	<li>By 5 years for Scheduled castes and scheduled tribes candidates.</li>
	<li>By 3 years for Other Backward Classes.</li>
	<li>By 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability as defined under “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”.</li>
	<li>Ex-servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of the assignment, will get 5 years of the upper age limit.</li>
	<li>By 5 years for people affected by the 1984 riots.</li>
</ul>
